Xbox Live Rewards is seen by some as an oddity. Despite Microsoft Rewards merging rewards and perks for multiple Microsoft services (including some Xbox prizes) into a single hub, the Xbox’s equivalent sits off on its own. The official reason for this remains a bit of a mystery, but it seems to be so Xbox related contests and competitions that are a bit more unique than Microsoft Rewards’ sweepstakes and gift cards have their own banner.
The latest of those contests is Freedom Rewards, which runs until February 28th. It’s a pretty big event and rewards you for playing various free to play games. The rewards and terms are different for each game, and the lineup includes some big names like World of Tanks, DC Universe Online, Warframe, and more. The prizes range from Platinum for Warframe (which you can get by just earning five Warframe achievements after entering) to a 4K Ultra HD TV, which you could win by playing Roblox.
Roblox is the star of the show here, featuring huge prizes. Aside from the previously mentioned Ultra HD TV, there’s also some gaming accessories like headsets and gaming chairs. You can earn up to four entries each week by playing Roblox, and you gain one entry for each half-hour spent playing the game. Two hours a week for a chance at a TV worth $1499 is a pretty good offer, but keep in mind that you’ll have to be over 18 years old and located in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom to join in.
To get started – and check out some of the other prizes – you’ll need to sign up on the Xbox Live Rewards site.
