Xbox Live has been experiencing a lot of trouble recently. The service went done just a little while ago, and some users are experiencing some issues with the service today as well. Microsoft’s official status page for Xbox Live states that users are having a “tough time” launching previously purchased content and purchasing new content. As usual, the company is working on fixing the issue and the service should be back up. Hopefully, that will be happening Soon™.
