Xbox is honoring Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month through a series of initiatives that highlight cultural contributions and support community organizations. The campaign, titled “A Wave of Change,” features curated game collections, dynamic console backgrounds, and opportunities for players to engage with and support AAPI communities.

The curated game collections spotlight titles influenced by Asian and Pacific Islander cultures, including Tchia, Coral Island, Summer of Mara, and Windbound. These selections aim to showcase diverse narratives and artistic styles within the gaming landscape.

Players can personalize their consoles with new wallpapers and dynamic backgrounds inspired by AAPI heritage. Additionally, Xbox encourages community engagement through Microsoft Rewards, allowing users to donate points to organizations such as the AAPI Equity Alliance and Stop AAPI Hate.

The Xbox Plays team will feature AAPI creators on Twitch throughout May, providing a platform for diverse voices in the gaming community. This initiative underscores Xbox’s commitment to inclusivity and cultural representation in gaming.
