Latest Xbox Insider build to fix UWP app crashes

Another preview update is going out to Beta and Ring 3 Xbox Insiders tonight. While the update contains minor improvements, the list of known issues is more significant. Build rs2_release_xbox_1703.170319-1800, which is scheduled for 9 PM EDT on March 22, only fixes the MSN Weather issue. Microsoft patched the problem which prevented MSN Weather from launching on Xbox One. There are other miscellaneous fixes and improvements too but it’s noting special.

Now let’s talk about the known issues. For those who live Skate 3—which is free on EA Access—the game may crash to Home after you attempt to join a Quick Match. Considering that many people love playing the game online, this may be rather frustrating. Hopefully Microsoft will patch this issue soon. Apart from that and just like previous updates, launching Wireless Display fails and immediately crashes to Home.

You should keep in mind that some of the new menus are still in development. For example, the Audio output page is under construction and some of the new settings are not yet functional. Support is planned for Dolby Atmos for home theater, Dolby Atmos for headphones, and more in upcoming builds. We don’t know when the page will be complete but the team is working on it.
