Xbox Chief Phil Spencer Talks About Street Fighter V Exclusivity On PS4 And PC

At PlayStation Experience fan event that happened over the last weekend , it was announced that Capcom’s Street Fighter V game will be exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PC. When a Xbox One fan tweeted over lack of Street Fighter V on Xbox One, Xbox chief Phil Spencer replied him saying, “Business deals happen. We won’t do all of them.”

“There is a mix of deals to do but making sure we own IP Xbox gamers love is critical, IMO”

“I’d love it if Xbox fans could play all the games, but business just makes some deals happen. It’s all part of competition… I appreciate the competition, they do good work. I just focus on us and like you say I think that makes us better.”

He also said that when they have a 1st party franchise(Killer Instinct) in a genre, he would rather invest in that. Killer Instinct is a similar fighting game excursively released for Xbox One.
