Sony Ericsson Germany has just posted the above picture on their Facebook page. A woman, in a train station, with a black and white information sign behind her.
If this does not scream Metro I don’t know what will.
Combines this with the earlier pictures, filled with ‘tiles’ and the people, who are clearly the hipsters Microsoft likes to advertise to rather than the scruffy layabouts who are the actual Android users, and I will say Sony Ericsson is either toying with our emotions, or they have a Windows Phone on the way.
Of course we did post yesterday that the phone Sony Ericsson was teasing was the Sony Ericsson Nozomi Xperia HD, but this has an entirely different back, with the lens and the flash aligned vertically, while the device pictured above has a very different arrangement.
It would not be out of the realm of possibility for Sony Ericsson to be teasing two completely different devices, one of them running Windows Phone. In fact, it may even be the same device, with the Windows Phone version with the HD screen intended for delivery in Q3 or Q4 2012, as would be the tradition of Sony Ericsson, famous for their extremely long lead times.
What do our readers think? Is Sony Ericsson just winding us up? Let us know below.
Update: No, they are just stealing our cool, as fwaits points out in the comments. See the original picture here from the Xperia Arc ads.
