Work is progressing on Chromium for Windows 10 on ARM

One of the barriers to the adoption of Windows 10 on ARM has been the performance of non-native apps such as Chrome on the operating system.

We have heard vague promises that a version of Chromium with native support for Windows ARM64 will be coming, and looking at the contribution of Microsoft employees on Google Source this seems to be progressing well.

The main contributors appear to be from Tom Tan and Jon Kunkee, who is a kernel developer at Microsoft involved in x86-on-ARM64 emulation technology.

The pair has had several contributions merged, suggesting it will not be long before we have a good native version of Chromium for Windows 10 on ARM, even if this is built into Edge.
