WordSquare is a word puzzle game dating from the first century AD. A word square is composed of words of equal length that can be read both horizontally and vertically. The player has to arrange letters in a square so that the word that appears in the first row also appears in the first column, the word that appears in the second row appears in the second column and so on. The difficulty scales with the size of the square. The easy mode has 3×3 square and hard has 5×5. If you get stuck you get hints but your score will be reduced for using them. Speaking of scores there are online leaderboards.
All this is packaged in nice Metr… I mean Modern UI.
You can download a free, ad-supported version of WordSquare from the Windows Phone marketplace. If you prefer ad-free version you can purchase the Boards & Pieces package which contains WordSquare, together with the highest rated Mills game on all mobile platforms and five other logic games.
