MachineGames’ upcoming FPS Wolfenstein: Youngblood will support Nvidia’s gorgeous RTX ray tracing technique.

During Computex 2019, a computing trade show in Taipei, Taiwan, Nvidia revealed that the co-op shooter will support RTX technology. While we don’t know whether ray tracing will be used for shadows, global illumination or both, the released trailer looks to lean towards the latter.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood will also support Nvidia’s Adaptive Shading technique, a technique that changes the shading rate based on how much motion is in a scene.

Nvidia is so proud of Youngblood’s RTX performance that they will be bundling the game with select RTX GPUs, desktops and laptops between May 28th and August 6th.
