Windows Store to get App Video Trailers and Subscriptions with the Anniversary Update

Windows 10 Improvements

At Build 2016 today, Microsoft unveiled more than 1 thousand new innovations coming to Windows 10 with the Anniversary Update. The upcoming update for Windows 10 will introduce a bunch of new APIs and new features for OS. Now, one of the most noticeable ones in the above picture seems to be the new App Video Trailers and the Store Subscriptions. Microsoft didn’t really talk much about these two new features, but as it seems like, Windows Developers will be able to upload a trailer video for their app on the Windows Store. Additionally, Microsoft is also introducing Store Subscriptions. The Store Subscriptions will probably allow developers to get paid monthly for their service inside an app — for example, if you buy a magazine via the Store, you will be able to pay the monthly subscription via the Store in the Anniversary Update of Windows 10.

The above image also shows off some of the upcoming innovations such as Action Center in the cloud, Ink Toolbar, Badges on taskbar, Dev Center APIs, etc. What do you think of the upcoming innovations in Windows 10 Anniversary Update? Discuss in the comment section below.
