In what they bill the Smartest Watch, Secret Labs and the House of Horology have managed to pass the $1 million mark just before their round of Kickstarter funding ended, from a total of 5,685 backers.
Their smart watch, which runs on Microsoft’s .Net micro framework, will be compatible with a wide variety of operating systems including Windows Phone, with the creators repeatedly saying they see the OS as a first class citizen.
The device is expected to reach volume production in December, with first shipments being sent out to backers hopefully soon after.
If you missed the funding round, you can still order a watch, unfortunately now at the full $299 asking price. Read more at Agentwatches.com here.
