Windows Phone 8 will support an Auto-Upload service

imageAnother new and useful feature of Windows Phone 8 is the new Auto Upload service.

Unlike other background tasks this one seems very specific to the task of uploading user-generated content in the background.

Examples include pictures, but there does not appear to be any specific restriction, so video or audio could as easily be uploaded.

Auto-upload tasks are resource-intensive tasks, meaning they need WIFI and power to upload, but the good news is that the background agents have no expiration dates, meaning apps can take as long as needed to upload potentially gigabytes of audio and video.
