Microsoft has announced the full list of countries to be supported by Windows Phone 8 Marketplace.
The OS will support 180 countries, nearly 3 times more than the 63 countries supported by Windows Phone 7.x at present.
Developers, meanwhile, will be able to submit apps to those same markets via App Hub, up from 38 markets.
Microsoft’s Todd Brix also confirmed that Windows Phone 8 apps can come pre-loaded on microSD cards.
He also introduced a new, more robust and scalable Marketplace and App Hub, with faster certification and publishing times and better reporting options and the ability to filter apps based on screen resolution and other key characteristics.
