Windows Phone 8 shows up on HTML5 test site, scores better than Android 4.0

MyNokiaBlog has noticed that Windows Phone 8 appears to have shown up at the HTML5 website.

The beta OS scored 298 and while this is not the best on the list, it exceeds the 182 of Android 2.3, on the majority of Android handsets, and the 256 of Android 4.0 and is hugely improved from the 141 of Mango.

HTML5 is attracting increasing developer interest as a cross-platform language, and having good support on Windows Phone 8 may go a long way to closing the app gap
