We are seeing more and more evidence of Windows Phone 8, from our server logs to Hitlinks and now even the I’m a WP7 app, as noticed by WPCentral.
According to the apps stats, some devices running Windows Phone 8 "Apollo" build 8.0.9662.0 has shown up on the device radar. Some investigation by the developer shows that the app has been running on a Windows Phone 8 emulator, suggesting Microsoft is testing Marketplace app compatibility with the new OS.
WPCentral claims that “dogfooding†of the OS is going on internally in Microsoft at the moment, and while Microsoft may be trying to keep a lid on more details of the OS, I expect a lot more will be leaking soon.
