Windows Phone 8 sales will start this weekend


Microsoft has announced that Windows Phone 8 handsets will go on sale starting this weekend.

In terms US sales, Microsoft announced some dates and product availability.

Verizon will  carrying the HTc 8X, Nokia Lumia 822 and an previously unannounced Samsung ATIV Odyssey, which is expected to be a low-end handset, and will be available this Thanksgiving.

T-Mobile will carry the HTC 8X and Nokia Lumia 810, available 14th November

Lastly AT&Twill have the Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and HTC  8X. They did not announce prices or availability.

Sprint was prominent in their absence

Microsoft stores will also carry all the phones being sold in USA for walk-in customers.
