Windows Phone 8.1 Will Allow Developers To Add Slow Motion Effect And Video Stabilization To Captured Video

Windows Phone 8 didn’t provide much of an opportunity for developers to create video heavy apps. There were very few apps that was focused on video in Windows Phone Store. With the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 preview release, Microsoft has announced no.of new APIs that will enable new video apps in Store. Few notable items are the ability to add a slow-motion effect to video. This effect can be added during live capture or added as a post-processing step during transcoding. And the other one is the VideoStabilization effect can help reduce shakiness in video, such as   from a hand-held camera.
