The Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 alarm app has seen a minor update which should make the lives of those who have difficulty getting out of bed a bit easier.

The app now offers configurable snooze times, both when setting the alarm and when actually snoozing it.

The first will set the default time on a alarm by alarm basis, meaning we will not have to make the difficult choice while sleepy.

The second, when the alarm is actually going off, means you can delay the next ring for up to an hour.

The Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 has started rolling out to Windows Phone 8 Developer Preview handsets yesterday and brings numerous new features.  The update is expected to hit other handsets over the next few months.
