We know slow supply of Windows Phone 7 handsets have been the bane of the Windows Phone 7 launch, and it has been tempting to blame either Microsoft or the OEMs for poor planning.
HTC has now revealed to Digitimes the root of the problem.
According to HTC, the issue was a combination of a shortages of key components and a large number of devices launching over the same period, Windows Phone 7 and Android.
While one would expect the situation to only get worse with increased demands due to the holiday season, HTC said the situation should improve in December.
