Samuel Blanchard has written to let us know that his emulator for the Nintendo Game Boy is progressing apace, and now has a new name, Wario’s jewels.
Probably of more significance, the app now also supports saved states, meaning when a user leaves the emulator they cant restart at the same place when they return.
Samuel has also corrected an issue with the aspect ratio of the games, but this has also meant the games are no longer full screen. See the video above for the ROMs in action.
Installing the app needs a developer-unlocked device, and it us unlikely to ever show up in Marketplace, as Microsoft has said the ROMs invariably break copyright laws, making official distribution impossible.
