Bob Hunt of Technet has written an interesting blog post about the suitability of Windows Phone 7 for business users.
Prior to WP7 Windows Mobile and its predecessors had long been business-oriented, and with the new operating system’s consumer-focused “clean break from the past” it’s possible business users may be wary of adopting WP7. Hunt focuses on the OS’s strengths and in particular the imminent updates making WP7 a more attractive business prospect.
The article makes a convincing case for WP7’s business utility, and is replete with links to resources that even non-business users may find useful – although it’s possible that the currently fairly limited file management, synchronisation software and soon-to-be-remedied lack of copy and paste will still deter business users.
