Windows Live Messenger chat with Video Kinect

Microsoft is slowly bringing their “three screens and the cloud” dream to fruition. With the release of the Kinect controller, they are bringing video chat to the masses in the comfort of their living rooms. I wrote an article a few months ago on how Microsoft’s offerings i.e Video Kinect  and Windows live messenger surpass Apple’s Facetime or Google TV options and you can see why by just  watching the video above. Now if only we could start seeing WP7 devices with front facing cameras to complete the picture. Please also note the awesome way the Kinect camera tracks a user in the room and automatically adjusts the frame when additional people enter into the room. That is all you need to do to show your mom and dad or grand parents and they will be sold on the system without question.
