Springteq has announced what they call the world’s first in car portable navigation device with integrated heads-up display.
The image, reflected from the screen, appears to float in space about 1 metre in front of the driver, and work even in sunlight, due to the extreme brightness of the projector.
The device comes with an integrated RF remote to ensure drivers keep their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel.
The WeGo run Windows CE on a 400MHz Samsung S3C2416XL-40 processor with 64MB of RAM, 2GB of flash storage, and a SD slot.
