Microsoft today confirmed that the much-awaited Timeline feature is coming soon to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. At the Windows Developer Day last month, Microsoft showed off a working version of the Timeline experience in Windows 10. The feature was initially expected to arrive with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, but it wasn’t ready in time for the public release of the update.
With Timeline in Windows 10, users can now jump back in time to find what they were working on. With a visual timeline that displays what they were doing when, they can easily hop back into files, apps, and sites as if they never left.
In the upcoming builds, Microsoft will also introduce Clipboard, a fast and easy way to copy and paste between connected devices. Users can just copy anything, a photo, map link, paragraph, or even an animated gif- and it will be available to paste into whatever hey want.
