Windows Mobile had it, and Windows Phone did not, but it seems now that Windows Phone has been renamed to Windows Mobile, we are also getting a great missing feature back.
That feature is of course smart dialling, which makes it quick and easy to make a phone call by only dialling the first few numbers or letters from a contact.
The feature appears to work the same as before, reading both the numbers and T9 values from the keypad.
The video demonstrating the feature was captured by ITHome, which can be seen below.
ItHome also reports that the OS will have a “Yelllow Pages” function which will allow users to look up any public number.
It seems Windows 10 Mobile is just getting better and better. Are our readers excited?
Thanks Ina for the tip.
