Windows 10 Mobile: Latest update for Music app puts Artists in circles

Microsoft today released a new update for the Music app on Windows 10 Mobile. the latest update is a minor one, however, it brings some interesting changes to the app. With the latest update, Artists now appear on circles. Now, Microsoft does know that a lot of users don’t like the circles on the Windows 10 user interface – but, as the company previously stated, “people aren’t squares”.

Alongside this UI improvement, the latest update also introduces some other new features – here’s the changelog:

  • See more music at once – the filters and sorts hide while you browse your music
  • Artists now appear in circles so it’s easier to tell them from albums and playlists
  • Minor fixes and improvements

The latest update, version 3.6.1121 is now available on the Store (beta) app on Windows 10 Mobile. To download the latest update, open Store Beta, go to the Downloads section and check for updates.
