Windows 10 Mobile build 10166 is now live for Windows Insiders in the Slow ring


Microsoft has just released a new Windows 10 Mobile build to Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring. If you’re in the Slow Ring of the Windows Insider program, you will now be able to get Build 10166 which includes a number of performance improvements and some tiny new features – so make sure to checkout our full coverage on Windows 10 Mobile Build 10166 here.

Nonetheless, if you want to get the latest Windows 10 Mobile build, you’ll need to install the Windows Insider app, which is available here. Keep in mind that you’ll need to join the Windows Insider program first, and then join the Fast ring to be able to get the latest build. After that, check for updates and you should be able to install Build 10166.

For those unfamiliar with the slow and fast ring of the Windows Insider program, it’s basically a fast and slow track – so Microsoft releases builds faster to the fast ring, but those often contain a few bugs, on the other hand, the slow ring gets builds a bit later but includes fixes for known bugs.
