Windows 10 installation to get faster with the upcoming official builds

Windows 10 takes a decent time to install, especially when updating from an old Windows 10 build. However, this is about to change with the upcoming builds. If you’ve installed Windows 10 Build 10074, you might have noticed that the “Installing Apps” screen doesn’t take long time – that’s because some of the apps get installed after you login for the first time. When you login for the first time, you’ll get a notification saying “We’re adding a new feature to Windows” – and Windows will start installing apps such as the Insider Hub, Alarms and more.

Of course, this feature isn’t anything new, this feature was available on Windows 8.1 – but it wasn’t available on the older Windows 10 builds, or even the latest official Windows 10 build. Nonetheless, this does indeed speed up Windows installation.
