Windows 10 Home will reportedly cost $119 and Pro will cost $199


Microsoft today announced that the company will be releasing Windows 10 on July 29th. The company didn’t reveal any information on pricing on the official announcement post and the question still remains: “how much will Windows 10 cost?”

In a statement to CNET, Microsoft reportedly confirmed that Windows 10 Home will cost $119 and Windows 10 Pro will be available for $199. Additionally, users will be able to upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro for $100.

For those who don’t know, Windows 10 will be a free upgrade to Windows 8 and Windows 7 users for the first year. However, if you want to upgrade after the 1st year of the initial launch of Windows 10, you’ll need to purchase the operating system with the regular cost.
