Microsoft hast just released yet another build of Windows 10 for Mobile and PCs. The latest build is 14390, and it includes only one improvement for PCs. This is possibly the RTM for Windows 10 Anniversary Update, meaning that this might be the build which the public will get as the Anniversary Update on August 2. Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar stated:
Team, we’re getting down to the wire for the Anniversary Update release. Please install this build and try things differently than usual this weekend. Check out some of the Quests in Feedback Hub. Hand the device to a friend and have them try it out. Install apps that are new to you. Send us all the feedback. This is what we’re going to be doing as well. I’m going to be creating images on Sketchpad for an IoT project I want to do with you guys next month. I’ll tweet pics as I go.
In case you are wondering, the build includes only one fix for PCs which is listed below:
- You should no longer see the error code 0x80004005 when enabling Developer Mode on the “For Developers” Settings page if your PC is using a non-EN-US language.
The latest build is only available to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. If you are already in the Fast Ring you can get the latest build by heading over to Settings > Update & Security, and then check for updates. In case you are wondering, Microsoft will be releasing Anniversary Update to all users on August 2 as a free update.
