Microsoft quietly released a new cumulative update for Windows 10 Build 14295 recently, bringing the build number up to 14295.1004. The company released this build to Insiders recently, and it isn’t the latest Insider build either. So why did Microsoft decide to release a cumulative update for this build?
If you recall from Build 2016, Microsoft released the Anniversary Update SDK Preview Build 14295 for developers earlier this month at its annual developer conference. The initial release probably included some bugs, which is why the company released a cumulative update that will hopefully address those issues.
If you are a developer decided to stay in build 14295, you should download the latest cumulative update by heading over to Settings > Update & Security and check for updates.
