Windows 10 Build 14257 released to Insiders in the Fast ring

Mere hours after the announcement of build 14257 being in the pipeline, the build is now released. Microsoft states that even though we can’t see any new features or major visual changes within this build, we are getting closer to seeing the first few. Therefore, this build contains mostly bugfixes as per usual.

One of the discussed things in this week’s build announcement is that Microsoft’s Gabe Aul wants to make sure that the “expectation bar” of Insiders isn’t set too high. The reason behind this is the new, quicker pace of the Insider Fast ring. If you compare this week’s build number with the previous week’s, you can notice that it’s just 6 revisions newer and therefore major changes shouldn’t be expected.

If you would like to see what are the changes made in build 14257, you can head to our post detailing those.
