We’ve all grown to know and love Wikipedia. These days, if you need to find something out, the first place you’ll probably go is Wikipedia. With the advent of always connected smartphones, access to Wikipedia has become even more important. The iPhone and Android have many great apps to browse Wikipedia, and now Windows Phone 7 has one too.

wikiPanda from pandabits (site here) aims to be the best Wikipedia browsing application for WP7. It tailored the browsing experience to the phone, emphasizing the important content and formatting to fit on your screen. It lets you search both Wikipedia and Google to make sure you can find that article you’re looking for. Finally, you can quickly jump to sections within an article and read the article in different languages.

Beyond that, it also aims to bring to you the featured content from Wikipedia, such as today’s featured article, and interesting events that happened on this day. The developer also has plans for future versions, including offline reading, tabs and much more! Best of all the app is completely free!
