We reported a week ago on a new feature in WhatsApp Beta which would label messages with how frequently they have been forwarded, helping to know which messages are viral (and therefore suspect) and which are more personal.
Now the latest WhatsApp Beta for Android (version 2.19.97) is taking things to the obvious next level, by giving group admins the option to disallow frequently forwarded messages in a group.
The feature does not appear to be active yet, but when it does come it will place some responsibility on the admins of large groups for the messages they allow in their group.
