WhatsApp for Windows Phone updated with UI scaling improvements


Coming on the heels of its encryption update to a Windows phones and other handsets, Facebook has pushed out an update for Windows 10 – taking it to version

It’s not clear what the update improves, but there does appear to be improvements in the scaling of the user interface, meaning the app looks better on different screen sizes.

The most recent official changelog notes:

  • You can now send and receive PDFs
  • Videos are now automatically resized so you can pick larger videos to send
  • Trim videos before you send them
  • You can now choose to save incoming media to phone’s photos app for specific chats in contact info or group info
  • When forwarding or sharing, you can now send to a broadcast list
