Here are this week’s top Xbox One game trailers

Every week numerous trailers release for upcoming Xbox One games and many represent magnificent experiences. While some are just promotional materials like the Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition trailer, there are a few gems in there. We thought it would be beneficial to do a roundup of the most unique games which got trailers recently.


Ancestors

1C is pleased to announce Ancestors, a squad-based real-time strategy game with a strong focus on tactics. In close cooperation with developer Destructive Creations, 1C will bring Ancestors to Xbox One and PC. Being equally dedicated to both platforms, the title features native gamepad support with an optimized command system for the quick reactions necessary in the genre. More information, together with release dates and a hands-on build, will be revealed at this year’s Gamescom conference.

Butcher

Butcher got a launch trailer on Xbox One. It’s basically 2D Doom given its level of gore.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III

The leaked Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles was real and we finally have gameplay footage.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s next expansion will hit Xbox One on May 18.

The video gives players a closer look at the game’s Story Mode and the variety of Super Hero and Super-Villain alliances at play, including factions led by the Dark Knight, Gorilla Grodd and others, along with wild card characters like Supergirl and Swamp Thing.

MercurySteam, the award-winning independent development studio behind the multi-million selling Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series, has released a new trailer, a new-look website and revealed the first details on 4 self-contained campaigns for Raiders of the Broken Planet, to be released in 2017. MercurySteam’s pulp adventure is a unique asymmetric 4:1 online game. The innovative cover-based tactical shooter focuses on close quarter shooting and melee combat, is heavily story driven and is able to be played as a single-player experience too.
