While Groove music doesn’t quite get as exciting for me as for the woman pictured above, it often helps me discover new music that I never would have discovered otherwise.
Curated playlists are a feature that people have wanted from Groove for more than a year now, and while the service has them, it is often cumbersome to discover organically.
This week’s Groove music playlist is called “The Best of 2016 so far”, and is full of music chosen by Groove editors.
While users may not exactly agree with their aural choices (who would choose “Kiss it better” over “Work”), and is quite skewed towards the top 40s of the charts, it provides a useful base for those just starting out with Groove on Windows 10 PCs like the Surface and Windows phones.
You’re gonna have to be a Groove subscriber to make use of these playlists, otherwise you’re better off purchasing tracks from the store or using your streaming service of choice.
If you’re curious, here’s our guide on making use of Groove Music playlists on the web.
