- Lumia 920 has 8.8% market share, for comparison
- Cheap devices like the Lumia 520 prove successful, with 26.5% market share
Microsoft lets pirated game through to App Store
- Despite Microsoft’s “hand checking” of apps, someone grabbed the XAP file for Fruit Ninja and republished the game for free
- Microsoft’s app certification process takes up to 5 days for apps to be approved, but despite this process, the illegal pirated game was still published.
- Microsoft has already removed the copy from the Store.
Microsoft will be improving Skype for Windows Phone
- Skype product manager stated that they are will soon have major issues (unsynced messages, slow load speeds, poor notifications) fixed.
- They also have more “fun things” planned for Windows Phone 8.1
