Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world adventure in a post-Brexit dystopian London, Watch Dogs Legion, will look apparently look fab on next-gen consoles.

Speaking in a Reddit Ask Me Anything thread, Ubisoft producer Lathieeshe Thillainathan revealed the visual and performance targets for the upcoming cross-gen game.

Thillainathan explained that Watch Dogs Legion will target a 4K resolution on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 with a framerate of 30fps. The game will also include raytracing on these consoles.

Curiously, Thillainathan didn’t reveal details of the budget-focused Xbox Series S. While the console targets 1440p as a baseline, some games will be running higher than that target while some will be running far lower.

Some titles on next-gen will have multiple performance options for resolution and framerate, but Thillainathan didn’t reveal if that would be the case for Watch Dogs Legion. A 60fps option would be nice, especially considering Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla targets the same, but it doesn’t appear to be included.
