Watch: Asus’s Mixed Reality presentation from IFA 2017

At IFA 2017 Asus joined the Windows Mixed Reality fray with their own ASUS Windows Mixed Reality headset.

The headset is much like the other Windows Mixed Reality devices, but has some thoughtful improvements, including the unique design with a pattern of hundreds of 3D polygons and a glossy tone-on-tone effect, low weighing under 400g (less than one pound) and a balanced-crown design that reduces pressure on the nose and face,  and quick-drying and anti-bacterial linings making the ASUS Windows Mixed Reality Headset cool, comfortable and hygienic to wear for extended periods.

The headset will otherwise feature the same specs of other WMR headsets, but Asus has priced the device at €449 and in their presentation they confirmed this price includes controllers, making it much the same as the other Windows Mixed Reality bundles.
