Walmart listing possibly outs Borderlands 3, Splinter Cell, Gears of War 5 and more

‘Tis the season for pre-E3 leaks and rumors. The newest one comes from Walmart’s Canadian website, which outs the existence of several notable games that have yet to be announced.

They all appear to be placeholder listings with no official box art or release date. While it’s easy to chalk this up to a simple mistake of an employee, most of the listings aren’t out of the realm of possibility.

Games like LEGO DC Villains and a new Splinter Cell have been previously rumored to come out some time this year, with Splinter Cell even receiving another retail listing on Amazon. We know Gearbox is working on the next Borderlands game, and Ubisoft and The Coalition are almost certainly working on the next iterations of Assassin’s Creed and Gears of War. The only listing that is the odd one out is “Forza Horizons 5.” First of all, Forza Horizon 4 hasn’t even been announced yet, and the name seems to have a typo either way.

Retail listings have been wrong before, but many of these are good bets to see at E3 next month.
