All the way back in 2018, Walmart accidentally put up an entire bunch of placeholder listings for games that were set to be announced at E3. One of these listings included Rage 2, which is actually due to come out on May 14th 2019.

At the time, the official Rage Twitter dropped a masterfully edited Tweet scolding Walmart for their terrible design choices in the placeholder art, including the missing age rating and incorrect key art.

Fast forward to today, where Walmart Canada have taken this in their stride and dropped a special E3 2018 pre-order edition sleeve of Rage 2, complete with that exact cover art. It’s beautiful. Really.

Sadly, the beautiful masterpiece that is the E3 2018 Rage 2 sleeve is only available to Canadian buyers and for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. You can get the PlayStation 4 version here and the Xbox One version here for just CAD$79.96 each.

Each of the versions also come with the usual Rage 2 pre-order bonuses, such as the Nicholas Raine Armor and Settler Pistol, a Mutant Monster Truck skin, and the Cult of the Death God mission.

Rage 2 is a first-person shooter, set 30 years after the original Rage. Players control ranger Walker as they patrol the mutant-infested post-apocalyptic world. It’s set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 14th.
