While many OEMs formally announced their Windows Mixed Reality headsets at IFA 2017 none indicated when the devices will actually ship, that is until now.
At IFA today Lenovo formally named and revealed their Windows Mixed Reality headset. Part of the same cookie-cutter design, the Lenovo Explorer features the same 1440 x 1440 dual displays and inside out tracking, and will be retailing for $349 without controllers, with the Windows Mixed Reality controllers adding another $100 when bundled together.
Lenovo also revealed the headsets will be shipping in October, which is slightly sooner than expected, but thankfully in time for Black Friday.
