Vivo’s FlashCharge 120w technology will make a 4000mAh battery go 0 to 100 percent within 13 minutes

Vivo is all set to showcase its new Fast charging technology, dubbed FlashCharge 120w at the MWC Shanghai event in China. Vivo’s new fast-charging technology will require no longer than 13 minutes to complete the charging process for smartphones with 4000mAh battery, making it the fastest fast-charging solution right now.

If you can remember, Xiaomi earlier announced that it’s working on 100w Super Charge Turbo technology, a fast-charging technology that can make a device with 4000mAh battery go 0 to 100 percent within 17 minutes. Clearly, Xiaomi was ahead of everyone else until Vivo came into the picture. The difference is 3 minutes!

Vivo currently offers the fastest fast-charging technology on the Vivo iQOO flagship smartphone. The smartphone packs a 4000mAh battery, which has support for 44w charging can go from 0 to 100 percent in 45 minutes.

However, it’s likely that Vivo will take another year or two to mass produce smartphones based on their cutting-edge FlashCharge 120w technology. Now, it’d be interesting to see who come first with the fastest solution for fast-charging technology.

The MWC Shanghai will be held on June 26 and continue till June 28. Aside from the FlashCharge 120w, Vivo is also expected to showcase its 5G smartphones. The Chinese MWC event will also see Oppo launching their first-ever under-the-display selfie camera smartphone.
