Breakout Kings – Windows Phone 7 game released to promote new TV series

We know Windows phone 7 has reached a level of credibility when a TV network decided to include the OS in its roster of promotional apps for its new TV series.

Breakout Kings is an upcoming American drama television series in development for the A&E network.  The (rather silly) premise is that in order to catch escaped convicts, a squad of U.S. Marshals makes a special deal with several current prisoners who have broken out in the past. If they agree to help, their sentences will be reduced and they will be transferred to a minimum-security facility. However, if any of them should try to escape, they will all be returned to their original prisons and their sentences will be doubled. The one-hour pilot episode is scheduled to premiere on March 6, 2011 at 10 p.m.

The game follows a similar premise. Convicts have escaped from prison and it’s up to you to catch them. You have to navigate mazes while avoiding traps and thugs that stand between you and your next target.  It’s free and super addictive.

1.Great graphic design
3.Chic UI
4.Ads free (The game itself is a HUGE AD)
5.Free of charge

1.The loading is painfully slow
2.The BGM is always the same, which is annoying

The free game can be found in Marketplace here.
