If you visited Verizon Online Store’s Windows section today, you might have noticed that the carrier is no longer selling the Samsung Ativ SE – the forgotten hero. If you visit the smartphone’s product page on Verizon, it’ll not display anything about the device, suggesting that the device has been discountined by the carrier.
Obviously, this isn’t a big surprise as the device was announced back in April of last year (2014). However, the device was indeed a decent Windows Phone from Samsung which packed a 5-inch full HD screen, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor – clocked at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a MicroSD slot. The device also packed a 13 MP rear-camera and a 2 MP front shooter.
It’s also worth noting that Verizon recently launched the LG Lancet Windows Phone, and the carrier is expected to launch the Lumia 735 in the near future. Until then, you can only purchase two Windows Phones from the carrier right now: the HTC One M8, and the recently launched LG Lancet.
