Microsoft is holding a Surface event on the 2nd October, and MySmartPrice reports that one of the products to be presented there has been leaked to them.
First rumoured by WindowsUnited.de three weeks ago, above is an updated version of the Surface Laptop with faster memory and 8th Gen Intel CPU. A more visible change, however, is in the range of colour options, which now also includes a full black version.
MSP expects Microsoft to drop Graphite Gold and replace it with Black, and otherwise offer Cobalt Blue, Burgundy and Platinum.
Otherwise, the device will be identical, with the same form factor, screen, ports and more. This is, of course, a pity, largely due to not correcting the major issue with the Surface Laptop – a lack of USB-C ports.
MSP also expects an update to the Surface Studio and Surface Pro range but notes the Surface Book 2 is still relatively up to date, and not to expect anything as exotic as an Andromeda-powered device.
