Untitled Goose Game, the game where it’s a lovely morning in the village and you’re a not-so-lovely goose, has been delayed until the later part of the year.
Developer House House tweeted an apology stating that due to circumstances beyond their control, Untitled Goose Game won’t be taking flight until late 2019.
A bit of news: due to circumstances beyond our control — see video — our goose game will not be arriving until later in 2019. This means we'll be able to make the best goose game possible! Thanks for your patience — we'll get this goose to you as soon as we can. pic.twitter.com/8BqbYw0wQb

The game is a fresh take on the traditional stealth game formula and players play as a ‘horrible goose’. The goose can walk, honk, flap its wings, and pick up items. There’s even a dedicated ‘honk’ button.
The goose has one ultimate goal and one ultimate goal only: be an angry goose.
It’s a ‘slapstick-stealth-sandbox’ type game where the goose must cause an appropriate amount of un-bird-led (that’s a pun) chaos in order to access the next stage.
You, the goose, must steal hats, set up pranks, press X to honk, and just generally ruin everyone’s day. You know, typical goose stuff.
Untitled Goose Game is currently in development at House House, an indie studio based in Melbourne, Australia. House House also created Push Me Pull You, a game about ‘friendship and wrestling’. Push Me Pull You is available on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux.
