UK online retailer Mobilefun has posted some release dates for upcoming Nokia handsets.
Of most interest to Windows Phone 7 fans is the release date of the Worldwide Nokia Lumia 900. The handset has been rumoured for May or June 2012, but according to Mobilefun the device should become available as soon as the 9th April.
Mobilefun adds an interesting titbit, saying the handset will be upgraded to Tango when it becomes available in April.
Probably less exciting, but likely to sell more, the cheaper Nokia Lumia 610 will also be coming to UK, and will become available on the 11th June, well after the Lumia 900.
The early release of the Lumia 900 is essential, to prevent it from being overshadowed by upcoming Apollo handsets, so it is pretty good news to hear it will be arriving much early than expected. As far as we know of course the Lumia 900 LTE for AT&T is still expected to arrive in little more than 2 weeks on the 18th March 2012.
