Ubisoft delays Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2

It can’t all be good news today. While a new Tomb Raider game was just announced and the Devil May Cry HD Collection will be coming to Xbox One next year, Ubisoft shared a post regarding the release dates of two if its upcoming games. It looks like Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 have been delayed.

“Far Cry 5 will now launch on March 27 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC while The Crew 2 will now launch in the first half of our next fiscal year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC,” the company said on its website.

Ubisoft Montreal will use this additional time to improve Far Cry 5 in order to create the “best, most ambitious Far Cry experience in line with the team’s original vision.” A new look at the game will be shown off tomorrow.

As for The Crew 2, the development team at Ivory Tower will use the next several months to perform additional playtests, gather player feedback, and work towards delivering an ambitious open-world racing experience that meets everyone’s expectations.

Far Cry 5 was originally set to launch on February 27, 2018 while The Crew 2 was expected to release on March 16, 2018.
